Technical certifications are a great way to make you and your tech resume stand out to future employers, land internships, help you sharpen your skills, validate your technical knowledge and experience, and compliment your coursework completed at SUNY Westchester. And they are now FREE!
The Center for Cybersecurity received a generous grant in Fall 2018 where students in the cybersecurity program at SUNY Westchester can acquire Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), and CompTIA IT Fundamentals certifications at no cost. Certifications are available to both our AAS and certificate students. In addition, students can get huge discounts on other CompTIA certifications through the CompTIA Academic Marketplace by registering on their website using their WCC student email.
